Sidney Nebraska
Ahahaha! Yes! I once again have a map to play with! And this one is industrial-sized. Given that, I can finally go back to this on-again off-again game that I’ve been playing. After several tries I have finally hit…Sidney, Nebraska! Hopefully, this’ll take my mind off the fight I had.
So according to my snooping, Sidney, Nebraska is one of the state’s smaller cities and is actually the county seat of Cheyenne County. Even though it’s a rural city, it hardly means that it’s a depressing place to be – I resent people who immediately assume that places like Sidney Nebraska are depressing simply due to the fact that it’s not quite as hip as the bigger and more modern cities in the state. If you must know, the corporate headquarters of Cabela’s (if you must know, it’s a very successful business that caters to the outdoor recreation market and sell hunting, fishing and camping merchandise) is in Sidney, Nebraska. You can find the state’s tallest flag pole in Sidney Nebraska. Heck, FORT SIDNEY is a place of note in Sidney, Nebraska. So no one can say that this city is depressing, even though it’s not much of a place to stop over when in a road trip.
And it’s not as if Sidney Nebraska doesn’t have a history (which I have a weakness for).
