Nebraska Workforce Development
Donna had a point when she said I should apply all the passion (or obsession, take your pick) I had with our Sammy and use it to go and look for a job. Still, it’s easier said than done; as I had mentioned, my hunt for a job just isn’t working out. As soon as I tucked Sammy in, I ended up calling Lily to get my head in gear. My friend is, after all, sort of employed already so she should know one or two things about the workforce. <
I could tell that she was holding back a snort at that - because I rarely ever worry about the serious stuff - but she told me to check the Nebraska Workforce Development, because it’s the best way to get myself into the workforce. That, and motivation.
So I did. I looked up the Nebraska Workforce Development (which is actually a program of the Nebraska Department of Labor, as far as I could figure) and searched through their programs. I was relieved to find, by the way, that the Nebraska Workforce Development program not only offered listings of jobs, but also training and education programs that would equip you for a future career.
I think, more than anything else, looking up the Nebraska Workforce Development made me feel more confident. Maybe confidence is what I need.
