Nebraska TV
I have nothing against Nebraska TV. Nothing at all against local Nebraska TV. I mean we have some really great Nebraska TV stations, after all, and they’re just as good as the non-local stations (mainly because for the most part they show shows from those stations anyway, at least, as far as I know).
But sometimes, the goodness of Nebraska TV could be very bad indeed. And I’m only saying this because I realized that I’m ridiculously protective of Donna’s son, Samuel. I actually got teased about getting my own son, but that’s not the point. The point is someone left the remote control out and Sammy didn’t get to sleep the whole night.
As far as I could tell, the poor thing was watching some reality shows on Nebraska TV up until this morning. I was pretty thankful that he didn’t have classes - he wasn’t enrolled yet - but that did not change the fact that Nebraska TV has deprived my sweet, darling nephew of sleep.
So I got some ground rules set up (Donna joked that I should apply my determination to get myself a career) so that Sammy wouldn’t be kept up by anything anymore - Nebraska TV or otherwise.
Sammy called me silly, but I didn’t mind. He fell asleep on my lap.
