Nebraska State Patrol

I’m taking a break from all my dart games, because I’ve started to think about other things – like if I were to REALLY go on that road trip, would I really be safe? And that got me thinking about the Nebraska State Patrol.

I may live in Nebraska, but I sure as heck don’t know all that much about them, come to think of it. I know that whatever they do is for the good of the public, and I appreciate their work. So what do I do? I look up the Nebraska State Patrol, of course. And I’m happy to see that even in training, they take the job very, VERY seriously. Apparently, the Nebraska State Patrol training academy requires trainees to stay and train with them for twenty-four weeks instead of the standard state’s thirteen weeks at the Law Enforcement Training Center. With barracks that house up to two hundred and eight officers, high-level educational and training facilities, a recreation area and a cafeteria, I’m very much relieved to know that my faith in them is not unfounded.

Obviously, I’m still planning to go on that road trip with Lily, and this time I’ll probably be able to do it with no problems whatsoever, knowing that we’re safe thanks to the Nebraska State Patrol.
