Nebraska Newspaper
Okay, here’s the thing: remember that post about how I’m just not into news and all that jazz? Well, I’ve decided to give it another go, and this time instead of relying on just news sources over the internet or based on hearsay (I consider watching the news on television “hearsay”), I would go about and look for a good Nebraska newspaper. You know, one of those things that you will dedicate yourself to reading every morning for the rest of your life? (Lily, upon hearing me say that over the phone, told me that I’m not allowed to marry a Nebraska newspaper)
The first thing I do, of course, is look for a list of Nebraska newspapers. Lily referred me to this internet list, all the while telling me to get a life. So I of course co with the Lincoln Journal Star first, because it’s a fairly respected Nebraska newspaper and…okay FINE, it’s because I can just get it down the street. The problem, I discover about this Nebraska paper, is that it’s fairly local (even though it DOES have news from all over the state). So that’s out.
I went through more newspapers before my aunt finally walked in on me, rolled her eyes and gave me a copy of Omaha World-Herald. It is, I admit, a really good Nebraska Newspaper.
