Nebraska Game and Parks

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission (sometimes simply referred to as Nebraska Game and Parks) is a Nebraska state group consisting of commissioners that are hand-picked by the governor of Nebraska. The aim of the organization is to preserve Nebraska’s natural resources without hindering the enjoyment of nature enthusiasts. Their goal is to ensure that there would be a proper balance between man and nature and forge respect between the two.

In order to accomplish this, the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission creates and puts into effect sanctions, policies and programs (mostly educational) that would keep the animals and their environments safe while in the meantime allowing humans to indulge in the usual forms of recreation that they expect to engage in when in certain areas. This way, neither the animals nor the people will have to suffer undue compromise.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission often convene as board under a singular director whose term lasts for six years.
