Nebraska Diamond
I’m not that big a fan of romanticism, but sometimes, some things happen that make me want to just squeal with glee over the power of love. The case in point would be this morning, when my father showed up at the doorstep, apparently having elected to not help pick up my two errant younger cousins in Kansas. In his hand was a box with a beautiful diamond ring he bought from Nebraska Diamond for my mother, apparently as an apology gift for being away so long and as a birthday gift, as she will be celebrating her birthday next week. The Nebraska Diamond purchase brought tears to the eyes of all the women present – Mom, Donna and myself. It’s one of the sweetest things my father had ever done for my mother.
For those of you who don’t know, Nebraska Diamond is one of the best places to get a ring (engagement or otherwise) here in Lincoln, if not in the entire state of Nebraska. The service is great, the prices are reasonable, the products are unforgettable – I can only hope that whoever I’ll marry in the future has the good sense to get our rings from Nebraska Diamond. Of course, I heard that they have some issues about resizing rings, but otherwise, Nebraska Diamond is one of those businesses that understand how one could say “I love you” in a glittery way.
