Nebraska Bookstore
So. I’ve realized that I’ve just ranted with righteous indignation AGAIN over random things. What do I do? I go to the Nebraska Bookstore in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Despite the fact that I was just very recently ranting about the Huskers, the Husker merchandise sold at the Nebraska Bookstore doesn’t bother me at all. And do you know why that’s so? That’s because I’m happy as long as I’m shopping.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am one of those multitude of women who men fear – the shopper. Because, despite what some outsiders may conclude from the name “Nebraska Bookstore”, the Nebraska Bookstore isn’t REALLY a bookstore. I mean sure, it sells University of Nebraska-Lincoln students their textbooks and the like. But it also sells clothes, DVD’s, accessories…and even though I’m not exactly a student anymore (really, not exactly; take that to mean whatever you want) I really like looking over those university knick-knacks sold at the Nebraska Bookstore. My favorite buy so far? Five “Children of the Corn” T-shirts for my circle of close friends. Not because we’re really crazy about the college thing, but because we loved the movie.
Feeling very much better now.
